2,5 years!

I'm 2,5 years old now! Having my holiday in Jakarta and Bandung. Quite sad, though...because of me getting contracted Paratyphus early this December. The signals are fever around 4 pm until night time and diarrhea. Seems the blood test tells it all. I need to eat only porridge for 2 weeks plus and avoid milk for the time being.

29 months - end of school term

The Year-End concert on 18 Nov 2009 marks the end of the school term this year. I'm quite sad about not going to the same school again, but looking forward to go to my new school at Holy Trinity Church. Farewell Tumble Tots and Right Starts, surely will miss all the teachers and friends there!

now 28 months!

It's really great that today I'm going to Kid's Kampong @ Pasir Ris to feed the ducks, fish, rabbits there. Seems like a celebration of my 28 months old of age!
Spreading the good news....I can ask for milk by myself now, by saying 'cucu' (susu = milk). I even let my parents know when I want to pee by holding on my hand on my pants (though it's quite rare, but it's fantastic for me to do so.

I'm so going 27 months!

One thing I like about going to playgroup is I can sing, dance, and do exercise at the same time. Ni Wa Wa is my favourite song, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Rain Rain Go Away, Little Teapot, etc.

yipeee 26 months!

Great news. I don't really have to go to the playground anymore only to eat (guess it starts from mid of the year school holiday, right after having a holiday in Jakarta in May 09). I even have Sara, my new schoolmate having lunch together at school.
So nowadays, I go to the playground only after I have finished my dinner. What a treat!
Here's a pic of me and Sara.

Progress report from Mom

My dearest Charlotte,

Today you are 25 months old. Look how big you are now! Mommy used to get frustrated when getting no response from you when you are just a little baby. But now, you are quite a chatterbox with the shake of your head or nodding as ways of expression of your response to my questions.

Now you can say "horse, egg, cat, keys, tas (don't know why you keep saying 'tas' instead of 'bag'), and 'no' without hesitation complete with waving your hand consistently.

Mommy used to easily get worked up with your unfinished milk and long hour mealtime. But nowadays, it goes on and off since most of the time Mommy let you decide the amount of food (but not the length of mealtime, of course), rather than sticking to a standard portion you usually have. Also, giving you more choices to eat. Lately, you have been craving for marie biscuit and cheese balls. Good thing you can balance your diet with sliced apples or plums, spinach and other green leafy vegetables (especially the leafstalk)

Only one thing Mommy can not understand, why it's more difficult now to put you to bed and have a nap? Luckily, your nightime sleep is still okay.

Love you,
Mom

23rd on 23rd

I'm writing today about me becoming 23-months-old 2 days ago. I spent the special moment together with my parents and grandma/grandpa in Jakarta. My Mom usually orders food from eating place who serves delivery service. Though it's reduced her task, still quite a challenge since most of the vegetables are not soft enough for me to eat.
Here's one of the new decoration I've made there

22 months!

Though everybody is worried bcoz of my speaking ability, I still think that I'm in the right track.
Few words I can copy by now : fish, cheese, bus, cake, bye, pig...

oh ya, there's also a time when I got rashes on my cheek, and some part of my bottom. My mom took me to Raffles Children's Clinic and was advised to stop eating food with artificial colors and seafood (except fish). Hmm, guess it's becoz I ate too much Yupi gummy bear recently!

21 Jump Street!

Yes,it's official now. I have quite soft steamed rice for lunch and dinner with different dishes served daily now. Although the varieties giving my mom a headache, but I'm sure she'll find it easier rather than serving different side dishes and appetizers everyday. She tries her best to serve the same meal for Dad and me throughout the day.Keep it going, Mom!

Twentylicious

20 months already! Having good favor for milk recently, the most is 240 ml for one session. But, it goes on and off. Lucky my parents don't really make a big fuss about it nowadays. I have pasta, mee sua, bee hoon, mashed potato for lunch daily.
Continuing to have regular toilet visit every 2 or 3 hour. I most of the time succeeded with the shower head as my help tool. At the very most I can sit happily on the toilet seat now without regrets!
The bad news is I scratch my friend's face in the name of frustration in school. Yipes!
oh,talking about school, here's one of my work at school (just focus on the yellow and blue color tints, please)

Terrific 19

It's so great to be 19 months old now! Have been going to a playgroup session named Right Start since 5 January 2009 (straight away after my year end holiday in Indonesia), have been drinking from a big water bottle, have been under a schedule of 3 cups of milk (180 ml per serving) and 2 times of heavy meal everyday.
